Bushwalking Mindfully

A psychologist led group program, with up to 10 adult participants, where you will learn mindfulness stress management techniques whilst on a bushwalk

The program runs over 4 weeks. Please contact me for dates.

Benefits of bushwalking mindfully include: Stress reduction, learning mindfulness to apply in your everyday life, exercise in nature and social connection

Program outline: Week 1 – Introduction to Mindful Walking, Week 2 – Breathing Techniques, Week 3 – Gratitude and Grounding and Week 4 – Balance in Life

When: Weekly from the start date but allowing time to extend if weather is poor and cancellations occur.

Where: Various easy graded bushwalks within 15mins drive from Wahroonga

Cost: Free, when referred via a Mental Health Care Plan – click here for a letter to take to your GP. (Note – up to 10 group sessions/year are in addition to individual sessions on a MHCP). Alternatively, $20 per walk (Rebates may be available through private health)
